Trip-hop survivor Tricky recently announced a new album, Murder Weapon.

And as we all know, one of the things you have to do when you record a new album is get out of bed long enough to do some work for it. That’s probably a hard task with Tricky, but Domino have announced today that the Bristol boy, whose first two albums are bona fide classics in the books of FACT and many others, has launched a new website, and unveiled a new video for forthcoming single ‘Murder Weapon’.

Filmed by Fluer and Manu in La Salle, Tricky’s boxing club in Paris (alright, maybe he has been out of bed), the video features Tricky training and boxing with other local fighters. ‘Murder Weapon’ the single drops August 30; you can watch the vid below.

Tricky has also announced a London live show on October 22 at Camden’s Koko. It marks one of four Tricky dates pencilled in for the rest of the year, the others comprising performances at V Festival and Bestival.
