March will see the release of La Máquina de Bolas, the second LP from Alex Under.

As well as running the CMYK label – previously home to Thomas Brinkmann and Kevin Gorman – Under has been intermittently releasing meticulous electronica under his own name. Seven years after the release of his first album, Dispositivos De Mi Granja, the producer and DJ is now returning with an album of new material on Soma.

In contrast with its more techno-orientated predecessor, La Máquina de Bolas promises to be a gentler, more exploratory record. The album’s title translates as ‘the ball machine’: a fitting figure for his delicately calibrated and propulsive sound. The (rather austere) tracklisting is below:
