The Australian favorite has died in a Melbourne car accident.

DJ Ajax, born Adrian Thomas, rose to prominence in the previous decade as part of the electro-mashup crew Bang Gang, a collective that was signed to Sydney’s Modular Records and recorded Ministry of Sound Mashed 2. In 2008, after the dissolution of Bang Gang, Thomas established his own label, Sweat It Out, signing electro-house acts like Yolanda Be Cool and Oh Snap.
