Brit producer Paul White also made the beat for their reworking of the Atlanta duo’s track.

In an extensive video interview by Danish hip hop site DrozDailySteezin, Danny Brown talks in-depth about his late entrance into the game after growing up with “Versace and ballers” rap that he didn’t relate to.

The madcap talent also discusses his forthcoming debut album OLD and reveals that the mooted collaboration with modern gangster Freddie Gibbs is a “remake” of Outkast’s Aquemeni cut ‘Return of the G’ – and it’s produced by British up’n’comer and previous Brown collaborator Paul White. “The beat sounds like a fucking haunted house,” says Brown.

The gap-toothed one also talks about 50 Cent, Sarah Palin and having “bitches on my dick” way back in middle school.

OLD is set for release in August on Fool’s Gold and features guest spots from Schoolboy Q and Mr Muthafuckin’ eXquire as well as Scrufizzer, A$AP Rocky, Ab-Soul, Purity Ring and British pop sensation Charli XCX. Production comes from Darq E Freaker, OhNo, Rustie, Skywlkr, A-Trak and Frank Dukes.
