International bad girl Rihanna has been booted out of Abu Dhabi’s Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque after taking part in a rather misjudged photo shoot.

The singer is currently in the middle of her Diamonds World Tour, and according to a statement released by the mosque’s representatives “…came for a private visit to the mosque, at a gate that is not reserved for visitors, without prior coordination.”

Rihanna apparently violated “the moral codes of access to the mosque” by “taking inappropriate pictures, posing in ways that are improper in the context of sacred place,” something which doesn’t go down well in the United Arab Emirates. You have to think that after accidentally getting involved with illegal sex shows and the rare animal trade in Thailand, someone would be around to inform her of how best to act in countries with radically differing cultures, but that doesn’t appear to be happening.
