That’s exactly what Third Man Records has opted for on this very-Halloween release: a 7″ with two new original recordings by Cassandra “Elvira” Peterson. Written by the B-52s Fred Schneider, ‘2 Big Pumpkins’ and ’13 Nights of Halloween’ promise exactly the type of campy throwback you’d expect.

Continuing their string of releases that are as innovative as they are kitschy: the 7″ comes in “pugnacious purple” vinyl with heat-reactive ink that reveals the Mistress of the Dark when heat is applied.
