Analogue synth fetishist Alessandro Cortini returns with a brand new moniker.

Nine Inch Nails collaborator Cortini has only just put out the excellent Sonno full-length on Dominick Fernow’s Hospital Productions imprint, but he’s back with another 12″, this time debuting a brand new moniker.

As Skarn, it appears as if Cortini is exploring a different mode, diving into the quirky, glitchy techno you might expect to hear from the Stroboscopic Artefacts label or even Pan Sonic. His new 12″ is entitled Revolver and is due to drop on Shifted’s Avian label – you can hear the title track below.

Revolver will be released on October 14 via Avian. [via Juno Plus]
