The on-point imprint welcomes 2015 with a lovingly curated compilation.
Leftfield London label Erased Tapes had a great 2014, with albums by Kiasmos and A Winged Victory For The Sullen striking a chord with listeners on the lookout for subtle, rainy day moods and a bit of orchestral melancholy.
To kick off the year, the label is offering a free 11-track compilation compiled by founder Robert Raths and featuring some of the highlights from current releases by Lubomyr Melnyk, Peter Broderick, Rival Consoles, Douglas Dare, Nils Frahm, A Winged Victory For The Sullen, Kiasmos and Michael Price.
There’s also an exclusive, previously unreleased song by Greg Gives Peter Space and a Clark remix of Nils Frahm’s ‘Peter’. To download it, sign up to the Erased Tapes website and you’ll find the 11 songs ready to go in the ‘My Downloads’ section. [via RA]
