Deezer’s high-quality streaming option is now available to its users around the world following a US-only launch in 2014. The Deezer Elite offering provides access to an impressive 35 million FLAC tracks, which Deezer promise to be five times the quality (and size) of a standard MP3, at 1,411 kbps or higher.

In the US the service will cost $14.99 per month for 12 months (£14.99 in the UK), or £120 per year if you pay up-front. There’s also a two-year up-front option, but it doesn’t save you any more money. Existing Deezer Premium users can upgrade for $40, or for free if they are also Sonos customers.

Deezer Elite is one of several high-quality streaming options coming to market at the moment, including Jay Z’s recently purchased Tidal HiFi. [via TheNextWeb]
