Two Australian techno classics are getting a fresh release.

Carmelo Bianchetti (also known as Late Nite Tuff Guy, House Master Cam and DJHMC) is one of the most enduring figures within Australian dance music. Bianchetti ran vital antipodean imprints Juice Records and Dirty House throughout the ’90s, helping to establish his hometown of Adelaide as Australia’s answer to Detroit.

Bianchetti has launched new imprint Reflector Records as a platform to showcase both new material and remastered versions of his back catalogue. The first release includes two essential cuts of raw and pure techno. ‘6AM’ is a heavily acid-tinged number that was originally released in 1996 but remains every bit as functional today. ‘Marauder’ first arrived in 2001 via Juice Records, a heady Berghain favourite that expertly combines rolling drums with razor-like synths.

6AM & Marauder will be released on July 13 via Reflector Records. You can hear ‘Marauder’ below.
