In 2015, Kamasi Washington is probably best known for his contributions to Kendrick Lamar‘s brilliant new album, but this was also a big year for his own work — he released the three-hour album The Epic last spring which will now receive a lavish vinyl edition. The 3XLP is out October 2 via Brainfeeder and will include custom artwork, posters, and a story adaptation by Kenturah Davis. [via Pitchfork]
