Music On Vinyl are preparing to reissue the score for The Godfather Part II.
Nino Rota, famed for his work alongside Italian filmmakers Federico Fellini and Luchino Visconti, composed scores for each of the three films in Francis Ford Coppola’s Godfather trilogy. Rota won his only Oscar for the Part II score, released in 1974.
The reissue has been pressed to heavyweight 180g vinyl and comes packaged in a gatefold sleeve. The first 1000 copies of the new run are available on suitably blood red wax. The Godfather Part II reissue will be available on September 21. [via Modern Vinyl]
