The rapper was shot in the head on Wednesday afternoon.

King Louie, real name Louis Johnson, was shot in the head earlier today while in a vehicle in the Ashburn neighborhood of Chicago.

Police told the Chicago Sun-Times that he was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center, where his condition had stabilized, and his management team said he was “awake and talking.”
