Moodymann is next in line to mix DJ-Kicks.

The long-running mix CD series has asked the funkiest player in Detroit to pick his favourite tunes for the next edition, following previous instalments by Seth Troxler, DJ Koze and Actress.

The charismatic Kenny Dixon Jr. focuses on creating a “libidinous, blues-drenched mood” for his own DJ-Kicks, combining soul, hip-hop and house with an impressive 11 exclusive Moodymann edits. Jai Paul, José González, Andrés, Little Dragon and Les Sins all feature.
