Iggy Pop, Tim Hecker and more join the lineup with her.

Red Bull Music Academy has announced the lineup of extracurricular activities that will take place during its 2016 session, which will be held in Montreal, September 24-October 28.

As always, tutorials and classes exclusively for those accepted into the Academy will take place during the day, while nighttime events will be open to the regular public.

Björk will be working in conjunction with RBMA and the DHC/ART Foundation for Contemporary Art to deliver a brand new VR music video. An immersive exhibition featuring her other VR work and music video catalog, as well as her interactive Biophilia app will take place at the city’s “multi-disciplinary arts and culture hub” Centre Phi.

RBMA’s Drone Activity in Progress, which debuted in New York in 2013, will return and this year’s focus will be on Montreal’s metal and grindcore scenes, as well as feature a brand new light and sound show from Tim Hecker.

Other events will include Iggy Pop in conversation at Ludger-Duvernay, Canada’s oldest theater, an “underwater sound experience” at the Olympic Pool of Montreal with a new piece by Lorenzo Senni and an all-Drexciya set by DJ Stingray. Suzanne Ciani, Kaitlyn Aurelia Smith and Veronica Vasicka will perform together at a night of “electronic exploration” and Jacques Greene and Lunice will reinvigorate the cult party Turbo Crunk.
