The Lyon venue shut down early on Friday night after two people fell ill.

Lyon club Le Sucre owners plan to file a claim against four patrons who were hospitalized after overdosing at the club this past Friday night, November 11. The club wants to put a stop to “irresponsible actions” by party-goers that will hinder Le Sucre keeping its doors open.

According to a statement made by the club owners, the four people in question brought the drugs into the club together: “The hospitalized persons — all of whom were in the same group — admitted taking the drug with them to the party.”

Local news reported speculation that there was a dealer on site who was selling bad drugs. The effects took place early Saturday morning leading to club shutting down early at 3AM. There is currently no confirmation if the four people who overdosed were together and brought in the drugs or if they were purchased elsewhere.
