Punk veterans The Slits have announced a string of European tour dates for October.

The band’s current line-up consists of founder members Ari Up and Tessa Pollitt alongside Anna Schlute, Adele Wilson and Hollie Cook (daughter of Sex Pistols’ Paul Cook). This tour is in support of the band’s brand new studio album, Trapped Animal, which will be released on October 5; a book by Zoe Street Howe about The Slits, entitled Typical Girls? The Story of The Slits, was recently published by Omnibus Press.
