Good news Friday. Cold Cave, the darkwave synth-fetishists behind one of FACT’s very favourite albums of the year so far, Love Comes Close, will be touring the UK this Winter.
Get this for a live set-up too: Cold Cave’s four-piece for the tour will consist of Wesley Eisold (Cold Cave), Dominic Fernow (black noise demi-God and Hospital Recordings boss Prurient), Caralee McElroy (ex-Xiu Xiu) and Sarah Lipstate (Noveller – we’re sorry for cutting her out the homepage image by the way, we didn’t want to). Words can’t express how excited we are for this: when we saw Prurient’s face on the new press shot about we literally melted into our chairs like untouched virgins. We love him when he’s angry.
For those who missed the long sold-out Heartworm release of Love Comes Close, you’ll be able to grab it on November 2 when Matador re-release it for a worldwide audience. ‘Til then, those dates:
