October 12 will see the release of ‘This Is It’, a "new" single from Michael Jackson who, just in case you hadn’t noticed, died earlier this year.

The previously unreleased track features backing vocals from Jacksons brothers, and features in the closing credits for the This Is It documentary set to premiere on October 28. It’s also the title track of a 2-disc compilation due out on October 26. The first disc will feature past hits by Jackson in the order they appear in the film, and two versions of the new sing; the second disc is comprised of previously unreleased mixes of selected hits.
