15 years on from its beginnings at what was then called Sankeys Soap in Manchester, Bugged Out will celebrate being almost old enough to shag and smoke on October 10, at Fire, Parry St, London – the same club where they had their last New Years party.
Headlining Room 1 is Bugged Out regular Erol Alkan, enjoying the same status he always has as one of the world’s most in-demand DJs – whether doing tearout electro sets or peddling the more discerning sound of his Beyond the Wizard’s Sleeve and Disco 3000 work. Joining him is Justin Roberston, a Bugged Out resident from the start, along with Hannah Holland and MC Chickaboo and Disco Bloodbath’s Ben Rymer.
Room 2 is curated by Ed Banger, with label boss Busy P headlining. Support comes from Feadz, So Me and Breakbot. Room 3 sports Brodinski, a French producer who’s worked with Crookers and Mumdance in his time, and recently curated Bugged Out’s latest Suck My Deck CD, plus JoJo De Freq, Matt Walsh and Wild Geese, a.k.a Frank Tope and Dan Foat.
Then Room 4 is the ‘party room’ (what’s the rest then?). Disco Bloodbath’s Dan Beaumont headlines, support comes from Work It DJs, Riotous Rockers and Johnno Burgess. It all takes place at Fire, Parry St, October 10, tickets are £15 from ticketweb, £20 on door.
