Chew the Fat return to Cable on April 10, with Room 2 hosted by Bricks.
In Room 1, you’ll have jump up patter from Foamo, Dub Police’s The Others, A1 Bassline, Hostage, DC Breaks, Calvertron and Trouble & Bass’s Boog A Loo Crew, but it’s Room 2 that excites us most.
Headlining is Ramadanman, one third of the Hessle Audio crew. One of dubstep’s most reliable producers, Ramadanman’s tracks are frequently inventive and driven by some of the most distinctive percussion in dance music. With a new double-vinyl EP due out on Hessle soon, there’s no better time to catch him DJing.
Untold, a close associate of Ramadanman’s who released his first 12″ on Hessle Audio and has since evolved to become one of dubstep’s most exciting producers, with a sound that takes in jungle, classic 8-bar grime and more, also plays, along with the excellent Synkro and Indigo, plus Lego.
That’s Saturday April 10 at Cable, South London, 10pm-6am. Tickets are £5 limited advance, £8 advance and students, £10 on the door.
