This Sunday The Alibi, Kingsland High St, Dalston, will host Fuerza Chile, a fundraiser with all proceeds going to charities helping in the wake of the recent Chilean earthquake.
Headlining is a set by dubstep pioneer Loefah, who co-ran the legendary DMZ label and now helms the Swamp81 label which has put out recent singles by Headhunter / Addison Groove, The Bug, Kryptic Minds and more.
He’ll be playing with Digital Mystikz’ MC Sgt. Pokes and “Loefah’s Special Surprise”, which sounds eerily similar to an upper deck-esque prank (Urban Dictionary it), but we’d wager will actually be a quite good musician. Which is far preferable.
Kiss 100’s Sinden and Werk Discs’ boss Actress play back to back, as do Joy Orbison and Oneman, with MC Asbo. There’s also performances by James Blake, and Paste.
Entry to Fuerza Chile will require a donation, minimum of which is £3 before 10 and £6 after. The event runs from 9pm to 2am.
