ATP’s Halloween jamboree Release The Bats will return for a third year to London’s Kentish Town Forum on Saturday 30 October.

The 2010 bill is headlined by New York math-rock types Battles, who follow in the footsteps of Shellac and Deerhoof. They’re currently in the studio recording the follow-up to their acclaimed debut LP, Mirrored, and will be performing new material at the show.

Battles will be joined by BEAK>, the stoner metal troupe overseen by Portishead’s Geoff Barrow, plus Kompakt’s resident shoegazers The Field (live) and Walls (DJ set). Tweak Bird complete the line-up.
