We’ve spent a good portion of this year losing ourselves in Ratatat’s LP4.

The fourth album by the New York duo isn’t necessarily consistent, but at its high points – such as ‘Drugs’, the latest Ratatat track to receive a video – its combination of shuffling pulses, medieval synths and tragedy-dripping strings can’t be topped.

We’d like to try and describe the ‘Drugs’ video, but what do you say? It’s eerie as fuck, and it’s probably got more teeth than any other video we’ve watched this year. Just check it. And try not to get weirded out on the 2.40 mark.
