La Sera is the new solo project of Vivian Girls’ Katy ‘Kickball Katy’ Goodman.

You could say its more of a duo: all songs are written and sung by Goodman, but recorded in collaboration with Brady Hall in Seattle. Hardly Art – the Sub Pop offshoot that’s home to Woven Tones and Golden Triangle among others – has signed up La Sera for its debut album, due in early 2011. November 16 of this year will see the release of a Le Sera 7″, ‘Never Come Around’/’Behind Your Eyes’; the A-side is apparently taken from the forthcoming LP.
