Apparat has signed to Mute, with an album due to be released through the esteemed British label in late summer.

Having previously released three solo albums on Shitkatapult, as well as collaborating live and on record with Modeselektor as Moderat, Apparat arrives on Mute at the height of his powers. A press release claims that the new LP (the title has yet to be revealed) finds him exploring “new musical territory”; you can judge for yourselves by downloading a track taken from it, ‘Ash/Black Veil’, via the Soundcloud player below.
