In a way, it’s weird to think of a new Brian Eno album being streamed on Soundcloud on week of release.

With most acts nowadays, you take that sort of thing for granted, but with Eno you expect him to be haughty enough to refuse. “No way am I diluting my art, if someone’s gonna listen to the music they need to take it in as part of the full package, artwork, book and all” – that sort of thing. Guess the Internet really is the great leveler. That or he’s got shares in Soundcloud.
