Update: Katy B and Plastician have now been added to this already monster line-up, and even better – we’re running a competition to win tickets.
Drop us a line at competitions@thevinylfactory.com with the email subject ‘Rinse 17’ to enter. First prize will win entry for themselves plus two friends, as well as a Rinse FM 17th birthday t-shirt. Second prize wins entry +1. The competition ends at mid-day Thursday, UK time.
London radio station Rinse FM will celebrate its seventeenth birthday on Saturday, October 8 across three rooms at Brixton Academy.
Heading the bill is Skream, dubstep’s original success story and a resident on the station for many years. He’ll be playing with vocalist Sam Frank.
There’s also live performances from Newham Generals [above], Roll Deep, P Money and Ms. Dynamite, while DJ EZ – arguably UK garage’s best ever DJ – touches down for one of his infamous lightning-paced sets.
Elsewhere on the sizeable line-up you’ll find performances from Jackmaster, Artwork, Redlight, Youngsta, Oneman, Elijah & Skilliam, Floating Points, Hatcha, Scratcha, Bok Bok, Horsepower Productions and tons more. For the full bill, as well as tickets and further information, head to Rinse’s website.
We’ve also got an exclusive track to give away from Rinse DJ Shox. It’s titled ‘Sundrops’, and you can listen to it below.
