As part of the London leg Red Bull Music Academy’s 2011 world tour, it will – believe it or not – take over The London Eye this Thursday, October 13.
Each of the 30 capsules that make up the biggest observation wheel in Europe will be manned by a different set of DJs and live performers, including Skream and Benga, Goldie, Bok Bok and L-Vis 1990, 2 Bears, Channel One Sound System, Jackmaster, Lunice, Space Dimension Controller and Braiden, Andrew Weatherall, Hessle Audio with Pearson Sound, Ben UFO and Pangaea and more.
Tickets for the event went on sale in late September, and you probably don’t need us to tell you that they sold out quick. Don’t fret though: if you weren’t lucky enough to get one, FACT and Red Bull Music Academy will be streaming Skream & Benga‘s capsule for the entire hour duration, live on the FACT homepage, from 8pm-9pm UK time.
More specific details will arrive on the day, but that’s the gist of it: Skream & Benga, DJing over the Thames, this Thursday at 8. See you there (or, rather, here).
