Its vocals might be on the… let’s say Marmite side (we’d be tempted to plump for an instrumental version, given the choice), but ‘Marka’ has to be one of the most satisfyingly dark dance tracks of the Winter.

Released on dBridge’s Exit Records next week, it’s minimal drum’n’bass, driven by gun-metal snare clangs, warped bass hits and hi-hats that sound like figures rustling in the dark. In fact, it’s not a million miles away from sounding like an Autonomic take on The Bug’s classic ‘Skeng’. You can watch the video below.
