Santigold, formally Santogold, has revealed details of her forthcoming sophomore album in an interview with V.
Titled Master of my Make-Believe, it’s an album about “creating your own reality”, and was partially recorded in Jamaica. Speaking about the process behind the album, Santigold claims that she was “really hands-on with everything. It’s the difference between being an artist and a plain pop star, right?”
The Philadelphia-born musician also revealed that she’s worked with Greg Kurstin, TV on the Radio’s Dave Sitek, Major Lazer producer Switch and the Yeah Yeah Yeahs’ Nick Zinner on the record [via NME].
