Brainfeeder is the LA label set up in 2008 by Flying Lotus, and has seen releases from Lone, Lorn and The Gaslamp Killer. Last year it was responsible for releasing Martyn’s Ghost People album, and next week it will release London producer Lapalux’s When You’re Gone EP, a lovely record of fuzzy-edged, tender electronics.

At the Gilles Peterson Worldwide Awards a couple of weekends ago they were given the label of the year award, and as a thank you, have prepared this label sampler which you can download for free on their website in exchange for your email address. There are tracks from Martyn, Teebs, Matthewdavid and others from the label’s back catalogue, as well as an exclusive Lapalux download ahead of his debut on the label next week.
