In case you weren’t aware, yesterday marked the 12th anniversary of Big Pun’s death. An enormous figure in terms of both his rapping skills and his weight, Pun only released two albums while alive, 1998’s Capital Punishment and 2000’s Yeeeah Baby (the latter so underrated it hurts) but it was enough to make a significant impact on the rap landscape. To celebrate Pun’s time on Earth, Hot 97 DJ Mister Cee dedicated an hour of yesterday’s Throwback @ Noon show to a Big Pun tribute mix.
