UNKLE’s collaboration with Mark Lanegan has a pugilistic new video.

Anyone that’s spent time with Where Did The Night Fall, the 2010 album from James Lavelle’s ever-adaptable electronica outfit, will be thoroughly familiar with ‘Another Night Out’. One of that record’s more successful moments, it sees UNKLE on more elegiac form than usual. The ex-Screaming Trees man is in Ballad Of The Broken Seas mode, quavering and crooning over Lavelle’s graceful atmospherics.

The new video, directed by Toby Dye, follows a grizzled boxer as he buffs up for a big fight. Shot in moody black-and-white, it has more than a touch of The Wrester about it.
