The Glasgow producer gets February 14 off to a suitably soppy start.

There are a bunch of things we all associate with Valentine’s Day: chocolates and red roses; winged babies with arrows; and, since 2008, Hudson Mohawke’s annual mix of R&B slow jams for LuckyMe. The set – simply titled Slow Jams: Chapter V – is another heady blend of syrupy ballads and pleasures guilty. Whether you’re spending today with the one you love, or sipping whiskey alone in a dark room, this should provide a fitting soundtrack. Oh, and no prizes for guessing who closes the tape this time round.
