Computer maverick Prefuse 73 will release a limited edition 7″ for Modeselektor’s Monkeytown label, to celebrate Record Store Day. It’s a partnership that makes total sense – despite the dance music context they’re usually found in, late ’90s/early ’00s underground hip-hop is clearly a major reference point for Modeselektor, as exhibited by their recent work with Busdriver.

The track will also feature on a forthcoming compilation, Modeselektion Vol. 2, due out in June.
