Grime’s biggest pop star, Dizzee Rascal, has confirmed a series of guests for his new album.
In an interview with The Sun [via NME], Rascal revealed that his forthcoming fifth album and the follow-up to last year’s Tongue n’ Cheek will feature production from vest-loving Ibiza titan Erick Morillo and recent Rihanna collaborator Calvin Harris.
Dizzee, in fact, claims to have “got in there before Rihanna”, before remarking that “I spoke to Calvin the other day actually. He’s going to send me some beats. He’s doing big things”, and “[the Morillo-produced track] should be this album’s ‘Bonkers’.”
Of course, what we also now know is that Dizzee’s next single is a collaboration with DJ Muggs of Cypress Hill. And speaking of the West Coast, he’s been hanging out a lot with Snoop Dogg: “He [Snoop] hooked me up with a load of producers so I’ve done a lot with them. They are loving dubstep over there and it’s all pretty banging.”
