Over the last weekend, a sterling line-up of indie-rock royalty made the trip to Butlins for Jeff Mangum’s edition of All Tomorrow’s Parties.

The weekend boasted sets from Low, The Magnetic Fields, Thurston Moore, and the reclusive Mangum himself. Stereogum have drawn our attention to an enchanting video extract of Joanna Newsom’s headline performance.

The video shows Newsom playing ‘Clam, Crab, Cockle Cowrie’, the doe-eyed highlight from her 2004 debut The Milk-Eyed Mender. As ever, it’s a performance that showcases Newsom’s unassailable grace and poise; even when she slips over some of the lyrics, it comes over as a gift rather than a gaffe.
