Mixmag have today published their annual drug survey, this year in collaboration with The Guardian.

The survey is apparently “the largest assessment of current drug use ever conducted”, taking data from 15,500 drug users worldwide, including 7,700 in the UK and 4,000 in the US and Canada.

Its findings are numerous – you can read them all here. Among them are the revelation that Mephedrone has fallen sharply out of favour in the past year – use dropped from 51% to 19.5% – and that “those who define themselves as clubbers [are] more likely to take ecstasy than smoke cigarettes”. And they say rave is dead.
