Right, who’s ready for this week’s M.I.A. update?

Not content with – sort of – conquering the music work, the ‘Bad Girls’ singer has a 192-page hardback book prepped for release in October [via Pitchfork, via OkayPlayer].

No word on the book’s title yet, but it intends to present an “autobiographical monograph in collages”, with over 300 photographs and unpublished testimonies from Maya herself. The book will be published by Rizzoli – who in case you were wondering, yes, are also publishing Diplo’s book.

Any shouts for potential titles, then? Hardback or not, Paperback Planes seems a good shout from where we’re sitting.
