JoJo has always been a likely candidate to move beyond her teenpop years in interesting ways: she sung about doing the dutty wine on her 2007 remix of Sean Kingston’s ‘Beautiful Girls’, and last year came even harder by sneering raw venom on her answer to Drake’s ‘Marvin’s Room’. This Danja-produced cut from her imminent, much-anticipated third album is a convulsive, buzzing slice of no-nonsense electropop: “Mind – check; body – check; my sensuality – check,” snaps JoJo dismissively before heading out into the night.
