In a recent interview with Fuse, A$AP Rocky has revealed some details of his forthcoming debut album.
The follow-up to last year’s mixtape LIVELOVEA$AP, Rocky’s full album will be titled LONGLIVEA$AP and, according to Rocky at least, will hopefully be released in “early July, hopefully July 4”. It will feature production from Clams Casino, Spaceghostpurrp, Hit-Boy, A$AP Ty Beats, Beautiful Lou and, it now seems, Pharrell, and should include vocal contributions from Lana Del Rey and Santigold.
News has hit the web today that producer of the moment Hit-Boy (who contributed tracks to Nicki Minaj’s Roman Reloaded and produced Kanye and Jay-Z’s ‘Niggas in Paris’) has produced the lead single from the album, ‘Goldie’, which will be dropped online next Monday.
There will also be an A$AP Mob mixtape released in May. Both that and Rocky’s album will presumably be released on their Sony/RCA-funded imprint.
Here’s hoping one of them includes the mighty ‘Celebration’, below.
