It should go without saying at this point that one of Night Slugs’ key strengths is in its visual identity.

The UK club label, run by Bok Bok and L-Vis 1990 and sporting past releases from Jam City, Mosca, Velour and more, has seemed to have a driven vision of how it wants to come across since the start, and its sleeves – often using an EP’s title as architecture in an isometric grid – are a big part of this.

The Night Slugs artwork has never looked better than on Club Rez, a new six-track, double-vinyl EP from Girl Unit. A collaboration between 3D artist Sina Taherkhani, Bok Bok and Girl Unit, the Club Rez artwork has now been extended to the video format, in a short teaser clip for the EP’s title track.
