The line-up to Kent bash Lounge On The Farm continues to expand.
The latest big addition is Matthew Herbert’s Big Band. The electronic svengali is best known for high-concept exercises like One Pig, but his live outfit is more grin-inducing than chin-stroking. The combo produce joyful, ingenious takes on Herbert’s recorded output. Hip-hop evangelist DJ Format will be offering straightforward head-nod thrills, and Ninja Tune’s Fink will also be keeping things soulful and rootsy.
Further additions include delicate folksier Fionn Regan, Hospital Records’ Netsky, gruff singer Jamie N Commons and Congo Natty. They join the likes of Dexys Midnight Runners, Disclosure, Scratch Perverts, Roni Size, Charli XCX, Roots Manuva, Goldie and Chic.
The festival runs from July 6-8; tickets and further information are available from the Lounge On The Farm site.
