‘Bad Girls’, the newly polished stand-out from M.I.A’s Vicki Leekx tape, still stands up as one of the most exhilarating pop cuts of the year so far.

According to Idolator, the track is now set to get a rollicking overhaul featuring some of the most towering female emcees in the business. Missy Elliott, set to return with a new album in the summer, will drop a verse. Young upstart (and Twitter provocateur) Azealia Banks will also feature, as will M.I.A-championed rapper/actress Rye Rye.

If anything, the track solves the mystery of what Elliott and Banks were working on earlier this year. M.I.A, meanwhile, is filling her time designing beer bottle labels for Beck’s. You can stream the original ‘Bad Girls’ below.
