UK techno mainstay Paul Woolford will release a double-CD mix for The Lab this June.

The Lab is a mix CD series started in 2009 by NRK, a long-running dance label that in its time has released music by Gemini, Kerri Chandler and more. The series to date has featured mixes by Steve Bug, Loco Dice and Seth Troxler, but Woolford’s selection looks to be arguably its most discerning yet – as well as established house and techno fare from Shed, Daniel Wang, Skudge and Gemini, there’s rougher stuff from NB Funky, Trevino, Untold and Mr. Beatnick.

2012 finds Woolford’s stock at a real high: following last year’s releases on Planet E, Hotflush and Local Action, this year he debuted his Special Request side project. For more on that, read our recent interview with Woolford here.

NRK will released The Lab 04 on June 18.
