Romare flips footwork in an African style on ‘I Wanna Go (Turn Back)’

On last year’s EP Meditations on Afrocentrism, Romare took the 160bpm drum bursts of Chicago footwork and flipped them in an African style.

One of that record’s highlights, ‘I Wanna Go (Turn Back)’, now has a video, directed by Hugo Presser. We’re streaming it below – Meditations is out now on Black Acre.
