Britpop survivors Blur have announced a fresh handful of UK live shows.

Ahead of their Olympics-celebrating blowout at Hyde Park, which takes place on August 12 and also features The Specials and New Order, the group will play four smaller shindigs at Margate Gardens (August 1), Wolverhampton Civic Hall (5, 6) and Plymouth Pavilions (7).

Tickets go on sale at 9am on Friday May 18, priced at £35 [via Clash]. Blur’s Damon Albarn, meanwhile, seems to not be able to make his mind up on the group’s future, nor that of Gorillaz, being quoted as saying various different things on both.
