We Fear Silence have programmed a killer night of techno at London’s Cable.
On May 26, James Ruskin will be celebrating his sturdy Blueprint label with a stack of exceptional artists. Like his imprint, Ruskin knows his way around tough, immaculately wrought techno. As well as repping the ‘Birmingham sound’, he’ll be investigating the outer fringes of contemporary techno. Joining him will be longtime Blueprint associate Surgeon. Having erupted onto the scene back in 1995, Surgeon continues to blaze a trail for minimal 4/4 productions. His work is sharper and harder than ever, and he’ll no doubt be the big highlight on the night. His set is being billed as an exclusive 20 Year Anniversary show (the first time he actually DJd as Surgeon was in 1992), so there should be a real treat in store.
Sandwell District’s Silent Servant will be on an austere techno flex, and Hotflush’s Sigha will also be stopping by. Russell Haswell, Tengui, and MB & CB will all be appearing in Room 2 under the Colony banner.
The night runs from 10.00pm until 6.00am. Tickets and further information are available from the We Fear Silence site.
