Red Bull Music Academy are heading to London’s Fabric to toast the career of David Rodigan MBE on May 24.

The esteemed selector has been promoting new music since the year dot; even as he enters his seventh decade, his thirst for new music is as strong as ever. He’ll also get a grilling from Benji B – expect the Q&A to throw up all manner of wonderful anecdotes. He’ll be joined by Ms Dynamite, one of UK garage’s greatest survivors. The one-time Mercury winner has managed to change with the times, turning out the incredible ‘Wile Out’ with Zinc and collaborating with Katy B. The spirited MC will be showing newbies how it should be done.

Dubstepper Caspa (whose debut album boasted a David Rodgian guest appearance) will be investigating the lower end of the frequency spectrum. Voracious eclecticist Toddla T will be chasing the good vibes, as will Birmingham lovers-rocker Bitty McLean. The Heatwave round out the bill.
